Using a neutral coloured paper, white gel pens and black pens we looked at the lights and darks in glass. Once the drawings were established, artists quality coloured pencils were used to soften areas which enabled tonal values to be added. Tricky subject but interesting to try.
Dorothy worked with the shadows and reflections made by a glass placed on her drawing paper and used them as a starting point which turned into a cyclist.
