sailing & sketching: Scotland 2018

To encourage sketching as a memento of a holiday...

The following were made using ball point pen in a 6 x 6 inch, stitched notebook with lined pages.  (Perfect bound or glued books are OK but you risk the pages becoming loose.)

I've tried not to edit these - though it is tempting - so, with some there are apparently random notes.

Also, sailing in good weather gives a total different sketching experience.  You have time to draw an object, for example Lismore Lighthouse, from different perspectives as you pass it which combine in a single drawing.  

Finally, apologies for spelling Loch Linnhe incorrectly.  


The blue pen didn't last long!
