Portraits 6: peer portraits, colour & composition

This week we brought together elements of the last few sessions on portraiture.

We considered composition, likeness and colour.  The results below beautifully express different aspects of the subject.

Portraits 5: composition & colour

The Task

• divide a page of A4 cartridge paper into 8 and using theoretical "how to draw..."  instructions, place faces in different positions in each space.  
• add strong colour to emphasise composition & perhaps create a narrative
